The Junior Counselor (JC) program at Camp Henry is designed for just graduated and rising high school seniors to grow and apply leadership skills, practice taking initiative and decision making, become CPR and First Aid certified, and be a mentor and role model for young people. Junior Counselors spend time interacting with campers and taking on the duties and responsibilities of a cabin counselor. This program builds on our Leadership Adventure Mission Program (LAMP), meaning it is strongly preferred that applicants complete a session of LAMP prior to applying to become a Junior Counselor. Junior Counselor is a non-paid, volunteer employment position, with room and board provided by Camp Henry.
