Cold Mountain Christmas Craft Fair

Join us for Lake Logan’s 1st annual Cold Mountain Christmas Craft Fair on December 14th, 2024 from 12pm-5pm. We will be hosting a wonderful variety of local WNC artisans in the Bishop Johnson Dining Hall, Lake Logan’s premiere event center overlooking the Pigeon River and the great Balsam Mountains. Come enjoy an afternoon of holiday shopping, pictures with Santa, cookie decorating with the Camp Henry elves, a Christmas carol sing-along, and a super fun concert featuring ‘The Moon and You’ (3pm-5pm).

Guests will experience a charming holiday event in a pristine gem of Haywood County. Mile-long Lake Logan is surrounded by the Shining Rock Wilderness and Pisgah National Forest, making this a premier destination for Southern Appalachian hospitality, adventure, and down home family fun! Folks can enjoy a glass of warm cider by the fire or embark on a winter hiking adventure using one of our beautiful on-campus trails. The Moon and You: Based out of Asheville, NC, The Moon and You is a charismatic husband-and-wife team. With Melissa Hyman on cello and Ryan Furstenberg on guitar and banjo, The Moon and You forms a sound that is warm and inviting, atmospheric and playful. Each is a well developed songwriter with a distinctive voice, and their songs range in style from classic to quirky. Lyrics-driven and intellectual with a keen ear for arrangement, they make music perfectly suited to a listening room or a pair of good headphones.

Please note: The Cold Mountain Music Series will continue on April 12th with an outdoor concert and Family Field Day, followed by the annual Cold Mountain Music Festival May 30th-June 1st.
