Lakeside is popular because of the rocking chair porches with views of Lake Logan, easy parking, and spacious living rooms with kitchenettes and fireplaces.
SUNBURST
Named Sunburst for the town which stood where the lake now exists. Sunburst boasts 4 bedrooms (one room with a queen bed and two twins in each of the other rooms), 4 baths, neat living room, gas log fireplace, half kitchen and a lake view porch. Legend tells that on quiet mornings you can still hear the Sunburst church bells from beneath the calm waters of Lake Logan.
ASH
With 4 bedrooms (two twin beds in each room), 4 baths, comfortable living room, gas log fireplace, half kitchen, a lake view porch, and easy access to the Gazebo hiking trail, Ash is a favorite of Lake Logan guests and was renovated in 2021 by Trinity Episcopal Church of Asheville. You’ll love the personal touches that make this cabin feel like home.
WALNUT
Walnut is a lakeside cottage with 4 bedrooms (two twin beds in each room), 4 baths, living room complete with gas log fireplace, half kitchen, and lake view porch. It was renovated by St. Philip’s Episcopal Church of Brevard in 2019 and includes beautiful original artwork by members of that church. Walnut is somewhat handicap accessible (ramp to enter, bars in some bathrooms) and is another favorite among Lake Logan guests.
MAPLE
The fourth lakeside cottage is set a little further from the first three. Maple also has 4 bedrooms (two twin beds in each room), 4 baths, pleasant living room, gas log fireplace, half kitchen, and a lake view porch. Maple is situated next to the historic Sit ‘n’ Whittle Village and perfectly blends comfort with seclusion. Maple is the only lakeside cabin that is dog friendly.
